ORDER

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner seeks direction to the 2nd respondent herein to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Na.Ka.PaA1/2856/2015 dated 08.06.2015 within the stipulated time.

A perusal of the typed set of documents would reveal that the petitioner was to retire on 31.03.2015 but he received an order in RC.No.2856/2015PA1 dated 31.03.2015 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
on the ground that grave charge is pending against him. Challenging the same, he filed WP.No.10097 of 2015, WP.No.43270 of 2016, WP.No.1010 of 2018 before this Court, which were disposed on 11.06.2015, 15.12.2016 and 05.02.2019 respectively.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that inspite of the repeated directions of this Court, the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner was not concluded till date.

Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made on either side, this Court directs the 2nd respondent herein to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in Na.Ka.PaA1/2856/2015 dated 08.06.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
