ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Cr. No.93 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 1.100 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that A1 was arrested and released onbail in Crl.MP.No.1126 of 2022 before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Special Court for E.C. And NDPS Act cases on 07.06.2022. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 1.100 kgs of Ganja. Based on the statement of A1, he was implicated in this case and he was arrayed as second accused in this case. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory

bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
