This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudhur for speedy disposal of the Criminal Case in C.C.No.66 of 2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits there are fourteen witnesses listed in the final report among them, only 2 witnesses are examined, one expired and remaining 11 members are yet to be examined by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudhur. The main grievance of the petitioner is that trial was commenced on 01.03.2017 without any progress. Hence, this petition seeking speedy disposal of the trial in C.C.No. 66 of 2017 pending before the pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudhur.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Such view of the matter, this Court directs the Trial Court to dispose of the Trial expeditiously. With the above observation, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. No costs.
