Prayer:Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to grant permission for stone quarry in survey No.146/3 at Munjanur Village Thiruchengodu Taluk Namakkal District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2022.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents not to grant permission for stone quarry in S.No.146/3, Munjanur Village, Thiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District. Learned counsel for the petitioner himself accepts that no final decision has so far been made by the respondents in this regard.

2.Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek remedy at the appropriate stage and if he so chooses, before the National Green Tribunal. There will be no order as to costs.
