[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner for construction of compound wall in the land measuring 25 Acres in S.No.867/2 of Adhiyamankottai Village, Nallampalli Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that K.S.Jagannathan, the petitioner herein, died on 04.10.2020 and that he has filed Crl.M.P.No.10305 of 2021 for impleading his legal heirs, which has been allowed by this Court today.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Hasan Mohamed Jinnah, learned Public Prosecutor, appearing for the State.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the police gave sufficient protection for fencing the property in question, so that, the land grabbers do not usurp them.

5. Learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State also confirmed the same.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, the police shall ensure that whenever the petitioner approaches them with any complaint, the same should be looked into and an action taken thereon.
