ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to register the complaint of the petitioner herein dated 06.02.2014 and investigate the same in accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the complaint has been sent by post and there is no proof that police have received the same.
4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to lodge a fresh complaint before the respondent police and on such receipt, the respondent police shall enquire the same and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
