This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 31 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

Mr.Varadha Kamaraj, learned counsel who entered appearance for the first respondent stated that he has no objection to this petition being allowed and also has no objection to the matter being referred to the Lok Adalat to arrive at a settlement between the parties.

The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and consequently, the delay of 31 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

The Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is, otherwise, in order and list the same before the Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on 13.06.2026. It is made clear that no notice will be sent to the parties and that the parties have to appear before the Lok Adalat court on 13.06.2026.
