O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the First Respondent not to interfere with the functioning of the Child Welfare Committee, Puducherry and not to dissolve the Child Welfare Committee before the completion of the tenure by the members of the Child Welfare Committee till 19.02.2021 except in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The Respondents have filed Counter Affidavit contending that having regard to the aforesaid relief sought by the Petitioner, any action that may be taken would be only in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law.

In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition without prejudice to the rights of the Petitioner to work out his remedies, if he is aggrieved by the outcome of any adverse decision by the Respondents. He has also made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
