O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.04.2016 and 29.11.2016 seeking compassionate appointment.

2. The mother of the writ petitioner was working as Sanitary Worker in Anna Institute of Management and died on 19.12.2015, while in service. Soon after the demise of his mother, the writ petitioner submitted representations on 25.04.2016 & 29.11.2016 respectively to the respondent, seeking for compassionate appointment.

3.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner contended that the family is still in indigent circumstances and the applications seeking compassionate appointment were also filed in time. Inspite of that, the respondent is delaying the issue without any reason.

4.Thus, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.04.2016 & 29.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is also directed to enclose the copies of the representations along with this order to enable the respondent to pass orders. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. However, no order as to costs.
