O R D E R

The respondent in O.P.No.2119 of 2012 on the file of the I Additional Family Court, Chennai, is the revision petitioner. The main Original Petition is filed under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, by the wife. Though four years have gone, there is no end to the same. The trial has commenced even as early as in early 2014. But, till today, no progress is made.

The only prayer in the revision is to give a direction to the Family Court to dispose of the O.P.No.2119 of 2012 in a time bound manner.

Considering the fact that Section 9 petition is kept pending for more than 4 years, even after the commencement of the trial, the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is directed to dispose of the same, expeditiously, however, not later than 30.04.2017.

With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
