ORDER

The petitioner has filed the writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to receive the Application Form CCPA dated 11.05.2016 with prescribed fees and grant the Maxi Cab Permit in respect of the Vehicle No.TN-02-AQ6928 forthwith.

2.Mr.A.Zakkir Hussain, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directed the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 11.05.2016 in Form CCPA and the prescribed fee for the grant of Maxi Cab Permit and consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
