With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner Association has been registered in the year 2002 under the Tami Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and now, some of the members of the said Association has formed a new association and registered their association in the name of "Covai Triveni Sangam". Since the said Sangam was formed without proper resolution, the petitioner Association sent a representation dated 02.04.2024, seeking its cancellation. Till date, no steps has been taken by the 3rd respondent on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2024 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
