ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 303(2), 324(3), 132 of BNS r/w under Section 3 of TNPPD Act, in Crime No.49 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that, he assaulted Government officials while they were discharging their official duties. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has two previous cases of similar in nature, pending against him. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also perused the records available.

6. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), it is seen that two previous cases, similar in nature are pending against the petitioner, which clearly demonstrates that the petitioner has misused the liberty granted by this Court and in view of the antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
