ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 2nd respondent through the 1st Respondent to defreeze the Petitioner's Current Account bearing No. 50200061629713 maintained with the 2nd Respondent Bank namely HDFC Bank, Attur Branch, Salem District 2.

On instruction, the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that on instruction from the first respondent, the second respondent has frozen the petitioner bank account No. 50200061629713. As on today, a sum of Rs.62,296/- is lying in the petitioner's account with the second respondent. However, as request made by the first respondent, the disputed amount is Rs.1,60,000/-. 3.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to operate his account No. 50200061629713 by holding a sum of Rs.1,60,000/- as lien over the petitioner's bank account.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
