ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to register an FIR on the complaint dated 05.08.2016, lodged by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 05.08.2016, it is alleged by the petitioner that he had purchased the property of the counter petitioner and that the counter petitioner is still holding possession of the property.

4. In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be given to the second respondent-Police to register an FIR, since the allegation is purely a civil dispute.
