O R D E R
The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to issue directions to 1st respondent to approve the recommendations made by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings dated 22.1.2019 in No.RW-MD-PF(31)87 and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2019.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Draughtsman Grade-C on 12.03.1987 and subsequently he joined duty. The grievance of the petitioner is that the juniors of the petitioner were promoted and however he was not given any promotion. For which the petitioner sent various representations to the respondents while he was in service. Thereafter, he attained age of superannuation and retired from service on 30.09.2009. After retiring from service also he made various representations to the respondents and till now, the representations were not considered. On 22.01.2019 the
petitioner received a letter from the second respondent stating that the representation of the petitioner was forwarded to the first respondent for approval. Till now the representations of the petitioner were not considered properly and for which the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that it would be suffice to issue direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated time.
4.The learned *Additional Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondents would concede the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the first respondent to approve the recommendations made by the second respondent in his Proceedings dated 22.01.2019 in No.RW-MD-PF (31)87 and consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2019 and pass orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
