The revision petitioner, who is the landlady in R.C.O.P.No.1 of 2012 on the file of the Rent Controller, Principal District Munsif, Villupuram, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Rent Controller to dispose of the Rent Control Original Petition within a stipulated time.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the Rent Control Original Petition was filed in the year 2012, the same has not yet been disposed of, therefore, the landlady is put to hardship and prejudice. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the Rent Control Original Petition is in the trial stage and same is posted for cross examination of R.W.1.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Rent Controller, Principal District Munsif, Villupuram to dispose of the Original Petition in R.C.O.P.No.1 of 2012, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
