ORDER

Seeking to transfer the case in Crime No.690 of 2014 from the file of the respondent police to any other investigating agency for fair investigation, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 3.The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.690 of 2014. He seeks to transfer the investigation from the file of the respondent to any other Investigating Agency. The petitioner has not made out any valid ground for transfer of the said case. 4.Going by the nature of the allegations, this is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to any other investigating agency and it will serve the interest of justice if, the Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the case in Crime No.690 of 2014.

5.In view of all the above, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.690 of 2014 and file final report as expeditiously as possible. The Superintendent of Police, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District is directed to monitor the said case.

6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
