This writ petition is directed against the order dated 16 October 2015, rejecting the request made by the petitioners to grant interim protection, pending disposal of the Original Application.

2. The Petitioners filed Original Application in O.A.No.1468 of 2015, challenging the notification dated 11 August 2015, issued by the second respondent, calling for applications for appointment to the post of Upper Division Clerk. The petitioners wanted the second respondent to consider their case for appointment to the post of Upper Division Clerk under the Meritorious Sports Person category. The Tribunal by way of the impugned order, rejected the request for interim prayer.

3. This Court, by order dated 20 October 2015, permitted the petitioners to participate in the examination held on 25 October 2015. The Division Bench made it clear that the publication of result shall be subject to the result of the Writ Petition.

4. The Original Application is now ripe for final hearing. We, therefore, do not find any reason to keep this writ petition pending. We request the Central Administrative Tribunal to dispose of the Original Application in O.A.No.1468 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
