Heard Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the R1, Ms.T.P.Savitha, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction not to convene a meeting at the instance of the Managing Director of the second respondent Society, pursuant to the notice dated 12.10.2015.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the meeting was already convened.

4. This is seriously disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner by stating that no meeting was convened and there is no agenda.

5. In any event, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition to the extent of the alleged convening of meeting is over and hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. However, it is observed that it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law under the provisions of Tamilnadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed with the above said observations.

No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
