Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass orders for selection and appointment of the petitioner to the post of Assistant Professor in Business Management as per the orders passed in W.P.No.34844 of 2013 dated 05.12.2017 and orders passed in W.A.No.297 of 2018 dated 20.02.2019, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.12.2019, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, this writ petitions is taken up for final disposal. The learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st

respondent to pass orders for selection and appointment of the petitioner to the post of Assistant Professor in Business Management as per the orders passed in W.P.No.34844 of 2013 dated 05.12.2017 and orders passed in W.A.No.297 of 2018 dated 20.02.2019, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.12.2019, within a time frame.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 4.

Though the prayer in this writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2019, expeditiously. 5.

This Court considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2019, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
