Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's possession and enjoyment of the property situated in S.No.33/2 to an extent of 2.37 cents of Marudavallipuram Village, Thiruthani Taluk and Thiruvallur District, without following the due procedure prescribed under law.

ORDER
Learned counsel for the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition since the respondents through their counter affidavit have stated that the "B" Memo issued earlier in favour of the petitioner has been cancelled. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty for the petitioner to challenge the cancellation proceedings in the manner known to the petitioner under law. 2.However, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is not in the possession of the property which is the subject matter of this writ petition and therefore, no relief can be granted in favour of the petitioner.
3.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the respective contentions and the petitioner's representation with regard to the challenge he proposes to make 4.Since an endorsement has been made in the Court bundle stating that the writ petition can be disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the cancellation of the "B" Memo issued in favour of the petitioner, in
the manner known to the petitioner under law, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the writ petitioner as prayed for. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition are closed.
