Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to rectify the wrong entry in the chitta in respect of extension is concerned in pursuant to the FMB Sketch and subsequently issue a patta to the petitioner in respect of the properites in Punjai Survey Nos.112/1, 112/2 and 112/3 to an total extent of 4.20 cents situated at Pulimedu Revenue Village, Anaikattu Taluk, Vellore District.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 & 17.12.2025.
2. Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed the representations dated 17.11.2025 & 17.12.2025 before the respondents, requesting to rectify the wrong entry in the chitta in respect of extension is concerned in pursuant to the FMB Sketch and subsequently issue a patta to the petitioner in respect of the properties in Punjai Survey Nos.112/1, 112/2 and 112/3 to a total extent of 4.20 cents situated at Pulimedu Revenue Village, Anaikattu Taluk, Vellore District. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 17.11.2025 & 17.12.2025 and after issuing due notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law. While considering the representation, the 3rd respondent shall take into consideration of the report dated 12.03.2026 filed by VAO and pass appropriate orders, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
