O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed seeking for a a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's petition for execution of maintenance order dated 08.05.2024 within a stipulated

period and pass orders accordingly.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 2nd respondent being the petitioner's son did not obey the order of the 1st respondent and thereby the arrears of maintenance amount of Rs.15,000/- for three months is to be paid to the petitioner who is a senior citizen and widower. Since the petitioner did not comply the order of the 1st respondent, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 08.05.2024 to the 1st respondent seeking to attach the 2nd respondent salary on maintenance order passed by the 1st respondent to settle the aforesaid arrears of maintenance amount and to credit the monthly maintenance amount of Rs.5,000/- in the petitioner's bank account after deducting from the salary of the 2nd respondent. Despite the aforesaid representation has been received by the 1st respondent, the petitioner's representation is still pending with the 1st respondent without any consideration. Hence, this Writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate for the 1st respondent

submit that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2024 within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard both sides.

5.In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2024 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
