ORDER

(The Order of the Court was made by The Honourable Chief Justice) The present Suo Motu Contempt proceedings are initiated by this Court, because of the default committed by the Contemnor to make payment of costs. It is to be noted that, this Court, while dismissing the Writ Petition on 18.04.2022 filed by her in W.P.No.9209 of 2022, directed that the costs of Rs.5,000/- be paid 1 / 3

by the contemnor (petitioner in W.P.No.9209 of 2022) to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority within 15 days.

2. When this Suo Motu Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the contemnor submitted that the payment of costs would be made in the course of the day. Accordingly, the costs have also been paid today, in proof of which, the receipt issued by the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Campus, Chennai, showing payment of Rs.5,000/- is also produced.

3. In view of the payment of costs as noted above, the Suo Motu Contempt Proceedings shall stand closed.
