ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant the petitioner increments arrears from the year 2003 to July, 2018 and further grant the petitioner all the consequential & monetary benefits and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2018.

2. The petitioner has filed a writ petition in W.P.No.34708/2016 to consider his representation dated 23.05.2016 for granting increments from the year 2007 along with promotions and consequential benefits. A direction has been given in the above writ petition vide orders dated 07.09.2017 to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pursuant to which, an order has been passed by the respondents by granting increments from August 2018 however, the petitioner has not been given arrears of increments from the year 2003 - July, 2018. In this regard, he has given a fresh representation dated 13.10.2018. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents till date, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Heard Mr.N.Desinghu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.S.Pavithra, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the earlier order of this Court and also considering the representation of the petitioner, an appropriate order needed to be passed by the respondents. The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for granting the arrears of the increments between 2003 and July, 2018.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
