Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2021 submitted on 30.09.2021 allotting the lands in Survey No. 354/1 Survey No. 354/2 and
Survey No.364/1 of a total extent of 9.05.5 hectares in Mervalukuppam Palanchur Village to the petitioner in exchange of lands offered by the petitioner in the said representation and on collection of such amount as may be determined by the Government for the said purpose and direct the Respondents not to disturb the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner in the said lands till consideration and passing of orders in the said representation dated 29.09.2021.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition is filed to seek a direction on the second respondent for consideration of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.09.2021 submitted on 30.09.2021.
2. Learned Additional Advocate-General submitted that the competent authority has now passed an order dated 14.07.2022, rejecting the prayer made in the representation. Thus, nothing survives in the writ petition. A copy of the said order has been sent to one of the Directors and the learned
Senior Counsel for the petitioner has also been served with a copy of the same.
3. Learned Senior Counsel submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order.
4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy against the order dated 14.07.2022, rejecting its representation. There will be no order as to costs. W.M.P.No.17365 of 2022 is closed.
