(This case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to take further action on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 24.10.2019 in CSR.No.852 of 2019 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. Heard Mr.S.Arun kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police.

3. Today when this petition is came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions fairly conceded that the petition mentioned enquiry in CSR.No.852 of 2019 is still pending on the file of the first respondent police.

4. Since the enquiry has been pending for the past one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

year, it is necessary to issue direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry within the stipulated period. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry in CSR.No.852 of 2019 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
