Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take action on petitioners representation dated 21.09.2020 and conduct the election for the office bearers of the above society i.e. Thiruvarur District Judicial Employees Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society Limited.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to act on the representation made by the petitioner on 29.01.2020 and to conduct the election for the office bearers of the Thiruvarur District Judicial Employees Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society Limited.

When the matter came up for admission on 29.10.2020, Mr.M.S.Palanisamy, learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the Election Commission took time to take instructions and report before this Court the date on which the election will be conducted.

When the matter was taken for hearing today, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the Election Commission submitted that as per the election programme issued by the 1st respondent on 04.11.2020, the election for the office bearers belonging to the 4th respondent society will be held on 27.11.2020.

Recording the submissions made by the learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the Election Commission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
