Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to relieve the petitioner from the office of Coimbatore EDC / Metro so as to enable the petitioner to join the duty as Gobichettipalayam EE/O&M/Gobi Circle as per the transfer order passed by the 1st respondent vide Memo No.00138/53/G 26/G 261/2019-12, dated 26.02.2019. ORDER

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Karthik Rajan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents would submit that during the pendency of the writ petition, the transfer order passed in favour of the petitioner dated 26.02.2019 has been subsequently withdrawn and canceled, since the prayer in the writ petition is to direct the third respondent relieving the petitioner in pursuance of the transfer order dated 26.02.2019.

herein, this writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infractuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
