ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application for transferring the Patta dated 21.01.2021 submitted by him through online, thereby, to issue a separate patta in the name of the petitioner with regard to the property i.e., Punja lands measuring to an extent of 1.80 Acres (0.72.8 Hectares) with the usage of well comprised in Survey Nos.18/1A and 19 situated at Devanampalayam Village,
Kinathukkadavu Taluk (previously Pollachi Taluk), Coimbatore District.

The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased Punja lands measuring to an extent of 1.80 Acres (0.72.8 Hectares) with usage of well comprised in Survey Nos.18/1A and 19 situated at Devanampalayam Village, Kinathukkadavu Taluk (previously Pollachi Taluk), Coimbatore District from its erstwhile owners Smt.R.Pazaniammal and 5 others by way of a Sale Deed, dated 20.01.2021 registered as Doc.No.148/2021 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Negamam for valid sale consideration. After acquiring the said property, he is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the above mentioned property till date. However, prior to execution of sale, Joint Patta bearing Nos.702 and 414 were issued by the concerned Authorities in favour of R.Pazhaniammal and others in respect of the said property and continued in existence in their names only.
Thereafter, he has applied an application before the second respondent on 21.01.2021 for transferring the Patta in his name through online in respect of the property of Punja lands measuring to an extent of 1.80 Acres (0.72.8 Hectares) with usage of well comprised in Survey Nos.18/1A and 19 situated at Devanampalayam Village, Kinathukkadavu Taluk (previously Pollachi Taluk), Coimbatore District. Hence, his application was not considered by the 2nd respondent due to COVID-19 pandemic situation and restrictions imposed by the State Government, he was unable to meet the concerned authorities in person. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition before this Court.

Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's application dated 21.01.2021 was considered by the Revenue Department. Based on the petitioner's application, an enquiry was conducted and Patta has also been transferred in his name as per the proceedings in D.R.No.2021/0103/12/308115TR, dated 07.08.2021 issued by the Revenue Department.
4. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate as well as a xerox copy of the proceedings produced by him, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VI) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar gba
