ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) Mr.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with necessary instructions to enable a final disposal of this matter. Hence, by consent of both sides, final order is passed in this Writ Petition.
2. The prayer in this Writ Petition is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2026 and grant leave without escort for 15 days to the petitioner's husband V.Senthil Kumar, Life Convict, detained at Central Prison, Vellore.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor accedes to the receipt of representation.
4. Hence, there is a direction to R1 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2026 and pass orders in line with the extant Rules, within a period of one (1) week from today and communicate the same to the convict and his family.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed as above.
