[Order of the Court was made by Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J.] This petition has been filed seeking amendment of the prayer in the appeal by including relief of enhancement of compensation, which, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, was inadvertently omitted at the time of filing the appeal.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the necessary court fee for enhancement was paid along with the appeal papers when the appeal was presented on 04.10.2024. The prayer to set aside the award without including the relief of enhancement of compensation, is only due to inadvertence.

This Court, after perusing the records and the submissions made by the counsel, finds merit in the request. Hence, the application seeking amendment of the appeal prayer to include the relief of enhancement of compensation is allowed.

The learned counsel appearing for the appellant is directed to file Amended Copy in the Registry. 5.

The matter may thereafter be listed before this Court.
