ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. The petitioner has come up with the present petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to take action relating to Crime No.25 of 2015 pending on its file and to file a final report at the earliest.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the transaction relates to the offence, which had taken place way back in the year 2011 and in respect of which, the petitioner also lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 09.08.2011; however, the second respondent has registered a case only on 14.01.2015 in Crime No.25 of 2015.

4. The allegations levelled in the complaint relates to a false documentation and therefore, the police cannot complete the investigation and file a final report in case of this nature at the earliest. Therefore, this Court can only direct the respondent police to conduct the investigation expeditiously and file a final report in accordance with law before the concerned court.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
