O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the wife of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Original Petition in O.P.No.2262 of 2014 within a stipulated time.

2.The petitioner filed the Original Petition in O.P.No.2262 of 214 to dissolve the marriage on the ground of cruelty and desertion. 3.Mr.R.Singaravelan, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed the Original Petition in the year 2014 and the respondent has also filed his counter. However, the trial of the Original Petition has not yet commenced. The learned senior counsel further submitted that in view of the long pendency of the matter, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Original Petition in O.P.No.2262 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
