ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to provide protection to the petitioner to take charge of the administration of the
Masjid-e-Azam, Periapet, Vanniyambadi, as per proceedings of 1st respondent in Rc.No. RDOVNB/1818/2025 -A3 dt. 16.03.2026. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted the total period of the said tenure of the said post is nine months, and already seven months have lapsed, necessitating the intervention of this Court. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, if a fresh representation is given by the petitioner to the 3rd respondent police, the same will be duly considered and complied within a reasonable time. 4.Mr.R.Abdul Mubeen, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 5 and 6.
5.Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
6.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation forth with. Upon receipt of such representation, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and facilitate the petitioner by providing necessary protection to take charge of the administration of the Masjid-e-Azam, Periapet, Vanniyambadi, in terms of the proceedings of the first respondent dated 16.03.2026. within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
