(This case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent police to file a final report in crime No.6 of 2018 pending on his file.
2. Heard Mr.M.K.Bhoopathy Rajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that in respect of petition mentioned crime number, the respondent herein completed the investigation and filed a final report on 30.06.2018 as undeducted.
4. Hence, in view of the same, as of now, no such crime number is pending on the file of the respondent as alleged by the petitioner. Therefore, the question of directing the respondent police to file a final report does not arise. Accordingly, this petition is devoid of merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
