The prayer sought in the present application is to permit the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu (AG & OT) to utilize Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) out of the net income of Financial Year 2024-25 of the Trust Estate of T.Venkatasubramaniam to award of scholarship to one student as mentioned below:

2. In support of this application, a report has been filed by the learned AG & OT and by relying upon the same, the learned AG & OT would submit that, from the Trust called the T.Venkatasubramaniam Trust, scholarship is being extended to a meritorious student selected in this regard every year. Accordingly, this year, based on the availability of funds, one such student, namely S.Nivedha, B.E. - IV Year, has been selected for providing of scholarship for a sum of Rs.10,000/-, therefore, the said sum may be allowed to be extended to the said student, he submitted.

Considering the said submissions made by the learned AG & OT, this Court is inclined to pass the following orders:- The learned AG & OT is permitted to release a sum of Rs.10,000/- from T.Venkatasubramaniam Trust as scholarship for the student, called S.Nivedha, B.E. - IV Year, studying in Sri Sairam Engineering College, West Tambaram, Poonthandalam, Chennai - 600 132, for the year 2026-27.
