ORDER
The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of petitioner in respect of property comprised in "0" Paimash S.No.166, measuring an extent of 5.00 acres, situated at Uliyam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2025. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that property comprised in "0" Paimash S.No.166, measuring an extent of 15 acres, situated at Uliyam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District was originally owned/possessed by one Smt.Kamalamma and the same was purchased by petitioner's grandfather viz., Muninanja Reddy. Subsequently, the aforesaid property was orally partitioned and into three parts i.e., measuring an extent of 5 acres each to petitioner, G.Gumma Reddy and petitioner's son. Since then, all are in possession and enjoyment of their respective shares. It is further submitted that petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.04.2025 to the respondents seeking 2/6
patta in respect of the subject land comprised in "0" Paimash S.No.166, measuring an extent of acres 5.00 out of 15 acres. However, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3.At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that the representation dated 11.04.2025 made by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 4.In view thereof, considering facts and circumstances of the case and limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents, to consider the representation dated 11.04.
2025 made by the petitioner on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties/rival claimants, if any, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
