Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to appear and file all documents in the enquiry proceedings pertaining to the issue of legal heirship certificate of deceased Kuppusamy.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to appear and file all documents in the enquiry proceedings pertaining to the issue of legal heirship certificate of deceased Kuppusamy. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent is the daughter - in - law of one Kuppusamy and she made application seeking legal heirship certificate to the respondents 1 and 2 stating that she is the only legal heir of late.Kuppusamy. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner's vendor is the adopted son of late.Kuppusamy and hence, the petitioner approached the respondents requesting them not to issue any legal heirship certificate to the third respondent, however, there is no response.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that based on the report of the Revenue Inspector, Alandur, legal heirship certificate was not issued to the third respondent and she was directed to approach the competent civil Court.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition.

5.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
