ORDER
It is represented by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent that a Government Order has been passed, which benefits the petitioner by enhancing the pension from Rs.1,000/- to 1/4
Rs.1,200/-. The G.O. dated 06.10.2023 has also been placed on record by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 2.In the order dated 03.01.2023 passed in W.P. No.35241 of 2022, which is the subject matter of this contempt petition, this Court had directed the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2022 seeking for enhancement of pension for its members from Rs.1,000/- to Rs.5,000/- within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the said order.
3.Since the representation of the petitioner has been considered through the passing of the Government Order dated 06.10.2023 by the respondent, which has enhanced the pension from Rs.1,000/- to Rs.1,2000/-, this Court is of the considered view that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the Government Order dated 06.10.2023, the petitioner will have to necessarily challenge the G.O.
4.In view of the same, this contempt petition is closed. Liberty is 2/4
granted to the petitioner to challenge the G.O. dated 06.10.2023, which has been placed on record by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, in the manner known to the petitioner under law.
