O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that W.P.No.28439 of 2025 came up for hearing on 31.07.2025 and notice has been ordered to the petitioner/ 3rd respondent in the writ petition returnable by 25.08.2025. The subject matter of writ petition pertains to the proceedings dated 08.03.2025 and for a direction to the Education Department to pay the back wages of the petitioner/3rd respondent in the writ petition.

2. The only dispute to be resolved is, as to who must pay the petitioner the back wages. The Department is claiming that only the respondent must pay the back wages and whereas, the respondent is claiming that the Department must pay the back wages. This issue cannot be resolved in this contempt petition.

3. In view of the above, liberty is granted to the petitioner to move a petition in the pending writ petition in W.P.No.28439 of 2025 and seek for the necessary direction for payment of back wages.

With the above direction, this Contempt Petition is closed. 05.08.2025 gya 2/3
