Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the Fishing lease right of Thellurlake, Vellore District, issued in favour of the 4th respondent for violation of the norms prescribed in the tender notice dated 06.01.2016 and consequently, conduct the fresh auction in the presence of the villagers consisting of seven villages.

O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the Fishing lease right of Thellurlake, Vellore District, issued in favour of the 4th respondent for violation of the norms prescribed in the tender notice dated 06.01.2016 and consequently, conduct the fresh auction in the presence of the villagers consisting of seven villages.

2. It is stated in paragraph No.9 of the counter affidavit that the extension of lease in favour of the fourth respondent has already been cancelled vide Lr.No.2209/Ko.496/Ka.2/2016, dated 21.11.2016.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
