The Writ Petition is directed against the respondents to grant priority and preference to appoint the petitioner as a Anganvadi Helper in Alathur Colony II, Alathur Village, Sangarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District on the ground that he has been working in the said post as temporarily for the last two years.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the documents available on record.

This Court is unable to entertain the Writ Petition, the reason being is, 1st respondent issued the notification on 10.08.2017 inviting application from the eligible candidates stipulating certain conditions to be complied with, as a basic qualification. The petitioner has also applied for the said post and subsequently received a communication on 01.09.2017 from the 2nd respondent to attend the interview for the post of Anganwadi Helper. He has also attended the interview on 08.09.2017, but the respondents, till date, have not announced the results. When notification dated 10.08.2017 issued by the 1st respondent has not given any preference, this Court may not be in a position to direct the respondents to give any priority to the petitioner. Therefore, the Writ Petition fails and the same stands dismissed. No costs.
