Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- as initial compensation for the death of her husband having died on 08.03.2020 on account of Electrocution [IN WMP.No.17874 of 2021 pending disposal of the above writ petition.No.16892 of 2021 Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.V.GOVARDHANAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.L.JAIVENKATESH, STANDING COUNSEL for Respondents, the court made the following order:- The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the interim order passed by this Court on 12.08.2021 has been complied with and a cheque for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- was given in the name of the petitioner.
