ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by P.D.Audikesavalu, J.) The Petitioner in this Public Interest Litigation seeks to restrain the opening of a TASMAC outlet in a building said to have been unauthorizedly constructed by the Sixth Respondent at the premises in T.S. No. 28/1 (or its adjacent Survey Numbers) of 1970 in Block II within the sub registration District of Sembium, Chennai - 600 082.
2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Third Respondent, on instructions, states that TASMAC does not intend to open any such retail outlet in the said premises. He further states that a confirmatory memo would be filed to that effect, which shall be placed on record.
3. In view of the aforesaid representation made, no further orders are required in this Writ Petition. It is needless to clarify here that if any cause of action regarding the same matter arises in future, the Petitioner is not precluded from working out his remedies in that regard before the proper forum in accordance with law.
W.P.No.15024 of 2020 is disposed on the said terms without any order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.18714 of 2020 and 8758 of 2021 are closed.
