O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the application made by the petitioner wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the cancellation of the patta issued in favour of respondents 5 to 11.

Heard, Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the fourth respondent has already called the parties for a preliminary enquiry on 25.09.2020 and the petitioner also claims that he has given a statement on that day before the fourth respondent, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to conduct the enquiry by giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and respondents 5 to 11 and submit a report before the third respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The third respondent on receipt of the report shall proceed further to pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

This writ petition is disposed off with the above direction. No costs.
