Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2013 and consequently direct the respondents to cancel patta certificate stands in the petitioner husband name in proceeding Quit Rent-RegisterTR/1083, dt. 29.11.2012, and come into legally enforce the patta certificate proceeding in Quit Rent-Register-TR 3481/0708, dated 27.02.2008 stands in the name of the petitioner daughter Tmt.latha.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents seeking for a direction to cancel the patta granted in the name of her husband. In the meantime, the petitioner's husband had expired, pending the Writ Petition and hence the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition no longer subsists.
