ORDER

By letter dated 22.7.2013, the petitioner sought for patta for the land in S.No.79/3D2, measuring 35 Cents (15280 sq.ft) falling under Roots Rich Field situate at 121 Kattuputhur Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District said to have been purchased by him by sale deed dated 22.11.1995. Though it was acknowledged by respondent No.2 on behalf of respondent No.1, no further progress has been made and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2013, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
