The 1st respondent registered a case in Crime No.5 of 2013, against the petitioners for the offence under Sections 498(A), 406 of IPC and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, based on the complaint given by the 2nd respondent. After investigation, the 1st respondent laid the charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Salem and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.77 of2014. petitioners have filed this petition invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.77 of 2014. 2.None appeared on behalf of the petitioners. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent Police would submit that the case in C.C.No.77 of 2014 itself was disposed of on merits after trial on 06.02.2017. He has also produced the copy of the judgment passed in C.C.No.77 of 2014, by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Salem.

4.In view of the subsequent developments, nothing survives further in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
